This is a non-embedded three-wire NPN normally open metal sensor. There is an LED on the sensor. After power-on, the light is on when metal is close to the detection range of the sensor, and the light is off when the metal leaves the detection range of the sensor. The inductive proximity switch is a low-cost method for non-contact detection of metal objects. When the metal object moves towards or out of the proximity switch, the signal will change automatically, so as to achieve the purpose of detection. Its composition is mainly composed of three major parts: amplifying output circuit, switching circuit, oscillator. The oscillator generates an alternating electromagnetic field on the detection surface of the sensor. When a metal object approaches the detection surface of the sensor, the eddycurrent generated in the metal absorbs the energy of the oscillator, which weakens and stops the oscillation. The two states of oscillation and stop of the oscillator are converted into electrical signals, which are converted into binary switching signals through shaping and amplification, and output after power amplification. The sensor has three DuPont female 2.54-1 Pin connecting wires, of which the brown is the positive power line source, the blue is the negative power line, and the black is the output signal line.
