Overview:

MB506 is a high frequency prescaler with frequencies up to 2.4GHz, using a frequency synthesizer to form a phase locked loop (PLL). It will divide the input frequency multiplied by 128 or 256 modulus, and the output level is 1.6V peak-to-peak at the ECL level.

Module features:

1. Input frequency: 30MHz-3GHz, typical: 50MHz-2.4GHz 
2. Output amplitude: 1.0-1.6Vpp+1/2VCC
3. Input signal amplitude: -16dBm-5.5dBm (the higher the frequency, the greater the input requirement)
4. Single power supply: +4.5 to +5.5V typical +5V
5. The frequency division ratio can be divided into 64 128 256 through the two-position DIP switch or external interface.
6. Input and output interface: SMA female input impedance 50 ohms.
7. Power Dissipation 90mW typ.
8. Wide Operation Temperature -40°C to +85°C
9. Stable Output Amplitude VOUT = 1.6Vp–p
10. Complete PLL synthesizer circuit with the Fujitsu MB87006A, PLL synthesizer IC
